About Mrs. Mueller

This is my 8th year at Ranch View Middle School, but my 19th year in education and I have loved every minute of it.  I am very excited because I get to teach the coolest classes.  Students get a chance to be creative, learn new software and step out of their comfort zone in Digital Design, ePub and Multimedia Productions.  It is also a wonderful opportunity to be a life long learner myself, see the students grow in their technology skills and to get to know RVMS students and staff.  The students are so excited about learning.  It is evident in the projects they produce!

Let me tell you a little about myself.  I was born in Louisiana, but grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  I graduated with my education degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.  That clearly explains my southern accent and my love of country music! I have lived in Denver since 1996 and love the seasons and the weather!  A huge plus is that there are hardly any bugs here compared to the south where it is 'Bug of the Month Club'!  I received my masters degree from Lesley University in Integrating Creative Arts into Curriculum which is where my love of technology began.

On a personal note, I love spending time with my two wonderful kids and my husband!  My daughter is 18 years old and starting college at Metro.  My son is 12.  They keep me busy and it has been so much fun watching them grow and learn.  We stay busy spending time with friends and family and try every chance to go camping and fly fishing!
