About Me

I am very excited to be starting my fourth year at Ranch View Middle School! Originally, I am from a northern suburb of Chicago and am a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan. I received my undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. After moving to Colorado, I attended the University of Colorado Denver and earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education, Mild/Moderate Needs.

I have two daughters, Sydney (27), and Nicole (23). Both attended Douglas County Schools from kindergarten through high school and graduated from Mountain Vista. Sydney recently graduated from Midwestern University in Illinois with a degree in Physical Therapy and is working in Castle Rock. Nicole is in her last year at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is majoring in Art Studio. When I am not spending time with family, one of my favorite Colorado activities is to hike and explore the outdoors!
